Change in 50 years
The biggest change in the next 50 years, would be technology. Technology would be different years from now. It would be more advanced and hi-tech. People will be more reliant on technology and they will be familiar with it. I think that computers would be more advanced or there might be a new kind of technology that would replace computers. Cars would be replaced by some other better and more efficient way of transportation. The way of life would be much different than today because of technology.

A Snowboarding Fail
I remember one time, my family went on a Vacation to Canada. We went Snowboarding. Before the trip my dad bragged about how he was so good at Snowboarding and how it is just natural to him. He told us that when he was younger, on snowy days our grandpa (his dad) would take him to the top of the hill with a long piece of wood and he would snowboard down the hill with ease. Finally on the trip when he got on his board and ready to go down the mountain, he slipped and rolled down the hill and there was a big rip on his jacket. Even though it was extremely funny, none of us laughed and just said "good try".

Health in Advisory
In Advisory, we are learning about Health. We discussed about different kinds of abuses and how we can avoid it. We learned about how we can be aware of abuse, and how we can help those who are being abused and is in need of help. Some people don't realize when they are being abused and they need people such as friends or family to tell them they are being abused. Abuse can be Physical, Emotional, or Neglect. In Advisory we also learn about how we can do better as a student and how we can help others.

China's 60 Years
China recently just celebrated it's 60 years of founding the Peoples Republic of China on October 1st. This Day 60 years ago The Communists drove the Nationalists out of China into Taiwan. This day marks China's 60 years of Communist rule. On this day however the people of Taiwan will see it as a historical tragedy. I think it is sad how Chinese people fought Chinese people and as a result it killed thousands and ruined homes and families. I'm wondering why they fought each other and did they realize what they were doing ?

Gilgamesh

In English class we are reading the Epic of Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh is the story of a King who loses his companion and goes through a quest to bring his friend back to life. This story is really confusing because it is written in poetry form. There are many mystical and cosmological themes in the story and our English final will be based on this epic.
