China recently just celebrated it's 60 years of founding the Peoples Republic of China on October 1st. This Day 60 years ago The Communists drove the Nationalists out of China into Taiwan. This day marks China's 60 years of Communist rule. On this day however the people of Taiwan will see it as a historical tragedy. I think it is sad how Chinese people fought Chinese people and as a result it killed thousands and ruined homes and families. I'm wondering why they fought each other and did they realize what they were doing ?
So basically, the same day that the Chinese celibrate is also the same day that the people of Taiwan think of as a sad and horrific day. Personally i don't agree with Communism, but China is one of the wealthiest and military sufficient countries in the world, so it must work for them pretty good.
